I owe all 3 of you an apology. For the last 15 years I thought that all 3 of you were morons when it appears that all 3 of you are either National Championship winning coaches or orthopedic surgeons. The sheer level of expertise that you have shown through your words regarding Jays decision on pitching has made it clear that you are no ordinary posters. So here’s to you and all of your experience that you bring to this board , and hopefully when JJ is taking a shite he reads this board so that he can put the 3 of you on staff.

Lester should know that total pitch counts mean very little compared to single inning workload. A pitchers who throws 3 innings and 30 pitches a pop is way worse off than a pitcher who throws 6 innings at 15 pitches per. From someone who got TJ and was never a starter, I can attest that it’s not about the per game total without context. Kade was his most efficient in the end of the game. 16 of the last 17 hitters got out. And not a single OU hitter reached base the last 4 innings. Low stress innings plus other factors = 135 is safe.

All I know about Honkus is that the rant had to rescue him from overseas for some reason. Rant succeeded. Long live Honkus.

Lester is 320 lbs and plays beer league softball. Cut him some slack.

Listen, it was an awesome game, Anderson didn’t get hurt. He has a week to rest.
But 135 it a lot.
there is a reason you don’t see guys throw 135 pitches a lot.
which is mostly what they’ve been saying

According to him, it’s good weight though.
I just think it’s hilarious that these clowns have the audacity to pretend they know better than the coaching and training staff that is in charge and make the decisions. If you’re nervous that someone may get hurt every pitch then you probably should find something on Lifetime channel to watch. Fkn twats

It is a lot. And it’s rare for a reason. But if there was ever a good time for it to take place, last night was one of those rare instances where it’s justified. Nothing about it was reckless given the context.

Take your unwanted analysis elsewhere. This thread is only for the discussion of the 3 previously mentioned “baseball scholars”

I guess I need to edit and add your name to the thread. So many experts . Jay is missing a golden opportunity to get you guys on payroll!

I’m sure he is. He’s just acting a puss that knows more than national champion head coach and his selected staff.
