Curious what is typical for a CPA to do standard self employed LLC business and personal taxes.

Probably 400ish assuming you have everything together, but if you're expecting to walk in April 5th as a new client and have it done by the deadline, double it

ETA assuming simple schedule C and not S Corp, C Corp, or P Ship and no other strings attached, that's also with you having it in order and I'm being on the low side with $400

My LLC was $895. I will pay around $400-$500 for my personal return.

I pay $1500 for an overly complicated set of K-1s and otherwise relatively normal investment income, backdoor Roths, etc.

I’m pretty content with it considering the overall resources he provides throughout the year and the pain in the arse the state of LA is with the K1s in my case.

I have a PC (S Corp) for some things plus personal return. It’s about $600-$750. I also fill out all the S Corp docs myself and have them bless it to mitigate fees.

$400 feels a little light for any business component. I’d say start at $500 and assume anything near there is pretty fair.

FLA CPA here. If all that on just a 1040, we’d charge 900-1200 including the state return.

If your business requires a separate return it would start at 995 and then expect some hourly charges for cleaning up whatever state they are in to get them ready for tax prep

My guy charges $600. And, yes, it can be expensed the following year.

Yes. Except this year b/c my bookkeeper went AWOL after we switched to QBO so I can't do it myself.

I just paid around $2,200 for tax prep for my LLC and our personal taxes for last year, but some of that also included some additional work they did for my LLC this last year beyond just the tax returns.

If we include the 1099 stuff they did it's more like 550, which I gladly pay (when I can do it myself) b/c I know their tax prep fee is undervalued.
