Dart is better than Shedur………HANDS DOWN. If Sanders wouldn’t be Deion’s son…..he would be a mid round pick

The question if both Shedeur/Dart are there at 9 is which one if we took a qb obviously. I dunno. I like Darts running ability/arm, but Sanders is impressive - can truly sling the ball around the yard. Even without play arm strength he is extremely accurate.

You don’t take either get a bad arse linemen, either side of the ball. Then receiver at #40, another linemen, then RB.

Dart's physical talent makes his ceiling higher, but sander's ability to play QB makes him a safer pick albeit a lower physical ceiling.

Sanders can read and go through progressions well, he throws with anticipation. He just doesn't (at least not in college) contribute as a dual threat or sling it in ways Josh Allen can.

The comparisons of a stronger arm teddy Bridgewater and geno Smith makes sense.

Kinda related…how the hell is Deion’s kid the SLOW option? Wife’s genetics must be a real downer

The best trait for Sanders (IMO) is his ability to climb the pocket and avoid pressure…..which is impressive. But in terms of all of his other traits…..they are not that impressive

If Shedeur is still available at 9, I'd sprint to the podium. His floor is low end starter and his ceiling is top 10 (even if it may take him a few years to get there). You can reset our cap issues by taking Shedeur and trading Carr after June 1st.

Seeing Falcons fans melt when Deion Sanders starts cheering for the Saints would be an added bonus

That's an interesting opinion.

From various scouting reports:

quote:

Drops beyond proper pocket depth and into edge rusher’s path.

quote:

Doesn’t offer up much escapability quickness from the pocket.

quote:

The biggest area of concern in Sanders’ game is his pocket presence.

quote:

To cut right to it, Sanders has a bad tendency to drift backward in the pocket.

quote:

known to hold onto the ball too long.

quote:

Takes too many negative plays rather than throwing the ball away, contributed to concerning sack totals

quote:

Shows tendency to drift backward under pressure instead of climbing the pocket, impacting throw power on deep balls

I don't see it at all. He has no pocket presence and is not a runner. Coupled with his marginal arm strength and I do not see anything special.

What have you seen that tells you this. I just do not see it with him. Certainly I could be completely wrong, but his lack of pocket awareness and lack of arm strength really concern me. I see him taking a ton of sacks at the next level.
