We had a terrible hail storm 3/25 that beat my tomato plants up pretty bad, I'm trying to decide to replant or not.
They do have some new growth since the storm

Lol that sucks. I'd probably replace them. You can get some that size for under $10per.

If there are still green leaves, then you are fine.
I would add dirt around the plant up to the top of the plant. Only expose a few green leaves. The stems will make advantageous roots. The plants will be fine as long as you have undamaged leaves.
That's how you should plant tomatoes, btw. It makes for a much stronger plant.

I would replant those rather than waste half of the growing season and then replanting.
Did your vehicles or roof get torn up…that’s a pretty bad hailstorm?

Yes, we had no warning so I left it in the driveway.
My truck has 15K miles on it

If you can stand to look at them the rest of the spring, and get half the crop, keep them. I've tried saving mine in the past and was sorry I didn't replace.

Looks like you have about 2x to many in that container anyway. I'd replace a few and also leave one or two of the damaged. I think they will make it out and it would be interesting to see.

Yeah, that sucks, but count your blessings that they were at least small plants.
About 25 years ago a big hail storm hit my area in the mid fall months and I had a dozen or so tomato plants that had huge tomatoes just starting to ripen and that storm made tomato juice out of them. It was so bad it stripped most of the foliage off my Japanese plum and tangerine tree, along with all the citrus ripening.
Actually, everything I had in my fall/winter garden was destroyed and ended that garden until the spring planting.
My pickup looked like I parked it on a driving range and it was used for a target. Not a good night for me, and one I hope to never repeat.

Man I saw the first pic and said they are fine.
But the second pic, yeah I'd replace them.
