Anyone have any luck on replacing the lid for one of their RTIC coolers? I have a puncture hole from when it tipped over and I am being told they do not sale just a lid.

Its about a 2"x3" hole. Thats probably what I will have to do, I just didn't want that to be my only real option lol.

How far did it fall when you tipped it over? Mine came off a luggage rack at 60 mph and didn't even get a hole in it.

Outdoor baws are going to give you every idea from
1. bolting sheet metal over holeand water proofing
to
2. Ducting a battery air conditioner in hole to make it colder.

It tipped over in the bed of my truck when making the turn out of my neighborhood. I was just going down the road to get ice to put in it and didnt think I needed to secure it. Guess I was wrong. I have put much cheaper coolers through a lot more hell. Kinda disappointed in the brand and not being able to buy a replacement lid.

!) Fill hole with spray foam.
2) After curing trim excess foam so that its about 1/8" below the flat surface
of cooler.
3) Fill in void with JB Weld and let cure.
4) After curing sand JB Weld to make pretty
5) Paint or slap a sticker over repair site,
Note: You can also fill in hole with some clay, etc.

As long as they aren’t polycarbonate, they’re likely super easy to weld. Get a $20 plastic weld kit and whatever resin you need.

Is it just through the outer layer? If so spray foam it if there is any depression sand it flat and then use an auto body fiberglass tape and fix it like a car body.
