Won’t mean much if they sputter in the playoffs. But pretty wild company.

(Teams in yellow won the title)

They're in good company considering the last 5 who broke the record also won the title.

Fun/awful side bar:

The 2016 Thunder beat one of the teams in the top 10, and blew a 3-1 lead vs another. God that year haunts me.

Jeez

The Thunder go 29-1 against the East this season, officially setting the best inter-conference mark in NBA history.

The Thunder have not lost to the East in Oklahoma City in more than a year. Last time: March 12, 2024 against the Pacers.

Amazing all the records they are breaking or tying this year

The Thunder tie the record for most double-digit wins in a season with 50, equaling the 1971-72 Lakers.

The Thunder are everything people miss about the NBA, but folks hate them because they’re gonna prevent a white guy from winning his 4th MVP.
