Electricians, contractors..can ANYONE tell me what this is? PIC

these stickers were on EVERY SINGLE lightswitch and outlet in my 1970s house when we moved in this past year.
since we replaced every outlet & switch i forgot about it with everything else going on.
however, i just found another one on an outdoor pump relay box today and it reminded me there were like 500 of these scattered around the house when we moved in. any idea what it is or what it was used for?
