Iran urged to strike Diego Garcia base ‘immediately’

The base supports B-1 Lancer, B-2 Spirit, and B-52 Stratofortress bombers, so it is significant for operations across Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Some 4,000 military personnel and contractors – the majority of whom are American – are also housed at the base.
Pete sure is going to be busy at the rate we're going. Iran, Yemen, Panama, Greenland, what else am I missing? Russia?

I’d bet decent money the Iranian missile couldn’t even make it to blue water sea, much less hit the base.

So who is urging Iran to openly declare war on the US via a military attack on our military base?

How does striking a US base deter the US from striking Iran? If anything they just sealed their fate.

I would wager their idea would be that it takes out our best capability to retaliate immediately, and they would call for a de-escalation afterwards. They probably all saw all the liberals rioting for Hamas and figure they would do the same for them
