He commanded it when needed. The breaking stuff is unhittable. But he has to be able to hit that fb for a strike. Beautiful tonight.

Hes touched 93 and completely stoned a few hitters with it. He's looked good.

I kept saying that if Eyanson can get his command in check that he’s the filthiest pitcher LSU has.

I think we’re seeing Eyanson grow from a contact pitcher into a big time strikeout guy. I’ve been a fan of his all year, he’s gotten some bad breaks purely due to he draws a lot of soft contact.

Eyanson has always been a SO guy.

I don’t think the soft contact was part of the plan

Evans in relief was better than Eyanson.

Evans was the pitching hero of the game !

He is very nasty. Casan is also absolutely filthy with 97 mph fastballs and that curve/change up. Like Doug Thompson said, one of those sequences would have struck out half of MLB hitters. Those off speed pitches are devastating. We have pitchers with great stuff this year.

Evans was lethal.

interesting to see how farr he can go

was really pushing it last inning.

still had life on his FB but was dogging it.

Those 10 pitch ABs hit different when you’re on a pitch clock too.

His fastball has very little movement, so hitting his spots is important. That's why his fastball often gets hit hard. His off speed stuff is the difference maker for him.

He was a great portal add, and I want Jay to let him go as deep as he can on Saturdays.

Sounds like they both were. You the type who needs a special, personal hero?

One thing In like about Eyanson is his ability to focus and bear down when he's in trouble. He would be a great reliever, as well.
