Chilling footage shows the mom accused of slitting her 11-year-old son’s throat after a trip to Disneyland being arrested — with blood splattered on her hands.
Saritha Ramaraju, 48, appeared distant, as if in a trance, as she calmly walks towards police officers with their guns drawn on the deck of a California motel while holding a phone to her ear, police bodycam footage obtained by Law & Crime shows.
The dazed mom, wearing a polka dot sweater and no shoes, steps towards the cops silently and gives herself up without a fight.
She should have just killed herself and left the kid alone

Convene a jury of her peers. If the verdict is not guilty let us say no more about it. However, should the jury found her guilty: hang her and put her body on display.

Why does mental illness so often manifest itself in a negative and violent way? Does it manifest itself in positive ways that we just don’t recognize or hear about?

Yes. No one is putting someone on the news for being mildly manic and overly productive and friendly/talkative at work. Van Gogh painted starry night from his insane asylum and a lot of artists probably used their altered worldview from schizophrenia as a way to influence their paintings. Even narcissism or psychopathy can lead someone to be highly productive and successful in their career.
There are a ton of people out there dealing with their own mental health issues in a positive and productive way and not killing their kids
