Your Trump report card after ~2 months:

I'd give him a C.
Positives: Border crossings are effectively shut down to zero
DOGE eliminating a lot of government waste
Executive orders overturning a lot of BS from the Biden years
Messaging and team cohesion and lack of internal leaks are a marked improvement over his first term
Cons: Market is down, driven largely by his erratic tariff policy
Not as much focus on reducing prices as I'd like to see, this could hammer us in midterms
Deportations are not really at that much of a higher pace than the Biden administration, which is shocking.
Bondi has been a disappointment at AG, and the Signal stuff is an embarrassment.
Limited momentum on the reconciliation bill
Some of the recent pardons (Trevor Milton) seem shady
Messaging has been idiotic on some things, like Canada being the 51st state. Unnecessary kicking an ant mound there that torpedoed the Conservative Party's chances in the upcoming elections.
TBD's: Ukraine war outcome, Supreme Court/judicial nominations
Obviously way better than if Harris had won, but still a moderate disappointment at this juncture. I am not optimistic about midterms unless the markets improve and prices come down for groceries. The liberal base is mad as a hornet and the media is of course taking the worst take on anything Trump related.
I must say, a larger sense of disappointment I have is with America at large. DOGE is mainly trying to prevent the US from going bankrupt and actually ensure that SS payments get made to the elderly, yet the media has whipped up the liberal base into such a rage that I fear multiple assassination attempts will be made on Elon's life. As they say, "no good deed goes unpunished..."

I set the bar at every presidency in the past half century.
By that measure its S tier.
I rate this congressional calendar year as a strong D-. All in all, they’re over-performing expectations.

I mean I thank God every day that Harris didn't win, but I don't have the same awe inspiring feeling like from November through the inauguration. We're going to be hammered in Wisconsin next week and will be lucky to hold onto two deep red districts in Florida. I think it's almost a given we'll lose the House in '26, just hope we can hold onto the Senate.

A resounding "A". A fricking C? Seriously?
Were you in a coma the previous 4 years?
WHAT THE frick??? Lol.
I can't begin to understand such a ridiculous statement, and don't want to.

Sorry but this take is moronic.
Trump is taking on the world.
Tariffs are necessary so other countries take down their tariffs and to protect some degree of manufacturing in the united states.
The border is shut down.
He is projecting strength.
He is fighting legal battles. Most of his cabinet has been slam dunk great picks.
He's been in office not even 100 days and has reshaped the world to the better for us.
A grade of c would've been not making things worse.
The world is better. Let's see how the tariff game plays out.
I think he is doing much better than I expected.

Scorched Earth Trump is the best Trump we could have ever hoped for. Don't think because you see a couple thousand purple haired freaks going to Bernie Rallies means that the left is getting momentum they are losing everything

A
What other President has shown the dark, corrupt greed of DC?
What other President said he would slow illegal crossings to a drip and do it?
Only Reagan sent so many libs to the nut house but he didn't cause the collapse we see today.
Investment is up.
Tariff wars so far so good.
So much bullshite ended by EOs.
No trannies in the military.
Europe arming themselves it seems.
Stopping free money to Ukraine.
Don't know how he gets a C from you. And those are just off the top of my head.
Much more to do but dude, it's been 3 months and look...you give a C. Bless your heart.
Lots left to do.

To be clear, Harris would be an F-.
Trump could've been at an A if he had:
- only threatened reciprocal tariffs, focusing instead on getting other countries to drop their tariffs and increase free trade. S&P 500 would be at all time high's and main ticket consumer prices would have been lower if this was the case.
- focused more executive orders on deregulation and reducing food prices
- not said some stupid things like Canada being the 51st state, all that did was push Canadians to the left
- had better messaging on DOGE

B
Needs improvement in prosecutions. Spends too much time trimming down the Federal government while leaving the people who will build it back alone.

Hopefully it works. Right now it is only hurting American manufacturing bc of all the uncertainty.

Why don't you evaluate based on your expectations and his promises rather than just comparing him to a senior with dementia? That's a pretty low bar, and not really relevant.

As you said, illegal border crossings are down to basically zero. That's way more important. If you're deporting a high number, but letting a way higher number cross over the border like it's nothing, then deportations are meaningless basically. And ICE has already arrested more illegal aliens in less than 3 months than Biden's administration did in all of 2024.
For all of that alone, I 'd give him higher than a C. And compared to the last few Presidents not named Trump, he is an A grade . He is actually doing things that will better the country. Not perfect, but actually working.
