Hilarious. I haven't laughed this hard at anything in a while. Ike Barinholtz is great and lots of big time cameos. First 2 episodes are out now.

I was debating making a discussion thread because a show about Hollywood led by Seth Rogen is a hard sell, even with the critical acclaim. I’m glad I gave it a chance because the first two episodes justified the hype for me. For those interested, I recommend skipping the trailer and going in blind if you can. I watched it after and it shows too much, particularly cameos.

Watched first 2 episodes and sortve thought the same thing but realized the first episode is just to set up. The second one takes off.

I LMAO at episode three. This show might not be for everyone as Seth Rogan can be quite annoying but there’s a shite ton of cameos to make up for that.

If that is even close to what directors have to deal with, then good lord. You can see how many well-budgeted movies that look good on paper end up being terrible.

I’m enjoying the show. It’s sort of like a slap-stick version of Entourage but from the studio executive side instead of actor side.
I will say all these people really suck at their jobs, Rogan especially, so I’m not sure it’s much of a Hollywood circle jerk, it’s making executives look inept.
