Interesting.

I'm down for whatever QB Kellen falls for and make whatever moves necessary to secure.

Raiders Jets Dolphins also have shown heavy interest in Quinn.

Raiders pick ahead of us in both round 1 and round 2.

Quinn supposedly played with an oblique injury most of last year which can partly explain a bit of a down year.

He sort of reminds me of a young Drew Brees honestly. Mobile. Scrappy. Accurate passer.

Or about some of the defenders he went against in the SEC

I get some of the concerns, size & accuracy, but he seemed fairly accurate in 2023. Lots of throws were with anticipation as well.

Considered a top 10 pick going into the year, he fell hard. Some comparisons make sense - Derek Carr/Andy Dalton. Not the strongest arm. decent touch. plays through a lot of injuries. Can throw with anticipation. Will throw some stupid arse picks.

3rd Round and beyond, ok, take the flyer. He has talent.

1st or 2nd round is an absolutely not to me

its very silly to me that people can have hard core opinions about a qb prospect under the pretense that the organization thinks that he can become the franchise qb in short term that a fan draws a line in the sand that they are ok with pick 72 but not pick 48. Its very silly. Qb is too important. Teams overdraft qb's every year at every round rolling the dice trying to hit on needs at the position. The most important aspect is going after organizational fit.

This has nothing to do with the position this is the player.

You should draft a QB at some point in the draft every single year if you do not have a long term QB.

I just have questions about Ewers in terms of arm strength and other things.

I don't think Ewers sucks but I also don't think he's a guy that based on what we have seen from him go in the first 2 rounds.

Plenty of guys that fit that description have gone on to good to all time great NFL careers

i think you are being slightly dismissive on how his oblique injury probably affected his last year's play a bit that has cooled off his stock quite a bit. He could be a terrific value pick and was a projected top tiered qb a year ago heading into the year.

Could be. I'm not going to melt or anything if he's the pick I just don't see him personally as a 1-2 round pick

My 17 year old daughter weighs 120 pounds.

She has a stronger arm than Quinn Ewers.
