And just gun it right into takeoff make me confident. That’s all.
No need to stop you p*ssies.

Dynamic takeoff is what you're referring to.

You have to take advantage of the opportunity when it arises, because the vast majority of times pilots are stuck behind a long cue of other planes inching their way onto the runway.

I fricking love when that happens.
I travel a lot for work and I'm not sure anything takes the wind out of my sails as much as when we begin taxying, giving us hope we're on time, then the dreaded pilot announcement we are in a huge line or they have to go back to the gate to check on something on the plane. 10x worse when it's hot outside.

That's my favorite. Pair that with the pilot making an announcement that you're going to land earlier than expected and you know it's going to be a good day

I kinda like it when they hold the breaks, throttle up and accelerate like they’re on an aircraft carrier.

Hmm... I could fathom how this isn't always a good thing.

love to get a mini drift going into the takeoff
pilot has to drop his nuts every once in a while

Would be interesting to see the numbers but I would bet the vast majority that do this are ex military.

Maybe I should've said land safely at your destination earlier than expected. I can see how right now landing early isn't always good

I’m not a pilot but it seems this would be dictated by air traffic controllers.

The wife and I just flew back from the Bahamas and both ways we had a pilot with a peppery mustache, I knew we were in good hands.

I hate to fly but taking flight down the runway is a rush

It is.
They are often told to line up and wait.

Just to arrive early and there’s no open gate to pull in so wait for another 30 minutes for a plane to move has to be the most soul crushing thing ever.

My dad is a retired commercial airline pilot of 20+ years. He always said the faster they can get up in the air the better. Never liked just sitting on the runway.
