Short video below. Seems he's feeling ill and says plane rides (like to play in Japan) were / are brutal. That does not bode well for a MLB season. Somehow he's lost about 25lbs in 2 weeks time. He's not a big guy to start with so this is a lot of weight. Apparently doctors don't know what's going on. I don't follow baseball that much but saw this video and thought it was noteworthy. Losing that much weight so quickly has to be a drain on everything he does. Hope things turn out well for him.

In my expert opinion, sounds like norovirus.

Also, sounds like he may play Thursday

Some of y'all never got ahold of some bad food/water in Asia and puked or crapped your pants for a week or two and it shows.

Yeah saying some shite like that just screams that his happiness is directly tied to a teams success.

It’s more likely you’ll get bad food or water somewhere in the US than Japan

Teammates used to claim Larry Allen could lose 25 lbs in a single day back when two-a-days were standard and the Cowboys held training camp outside in the Texas heat.

I got hold of something when I was in Iraq. It's not fun when eating or drinking anything at all makes you want to shite yourself and you're thinking, 'I have to go on patrol in about 30 minutes, do I hydrate or grab a snack or not?' I had to take two rounds of the strongest thing they had. We caught the cooks leaving things out in proximity to the shitters. It was not comforting. I have great empathy for Mookie in this situation.

For most healthy people, norovirus symptoms last one to three days. But for some, the virus can remain in the intestines for weeks or months, causing lingering stomach problems.

That's not that unbelievable... in wrestling after football I could lose 10 lbs in a practice and I weighed 225 cutting to 189. Assuming he weighed 4 bills.

I was thinking this at first but with the vomiting and apparently no diagnosis, I thought maybe virus.

sounds like he has become Type 1 and its undiagnosed. His A1C is probably 12.5 or so and he is near being DKA
