I need a few shops that I can call about working on a 700R4 in my 67 Camaro. 2 shops I've called won't take it unless I get it out of the car. I would rather bring the entire car since I don't have a lift

If a tranny shop doesn't want to do the removal and install I'd be walking the other way.

Protip-When their Amazon trans kit rebuild fails they will blame you and your installation while keeping your money.

Especially a 700 with the TV cable adjustment.

Sorry I don’t have anything helpful to say

But I’d like to hear more about your 67 Camaro.

Weekend cruiser?
Engine?
Package?

Pics?

Ask your local mechanic to pull it for you. He could store the car in his shop and get it to a transmission place.

I’ve used Mike’s Transmission and Automotive on Strain Road for an older car that Aamco on Coursey wouldn’t take. They did a great job and I thought the price was fair.

We have taken three cars to Mike’s—a 69 Mustang, an 86 Monte Carlo, and most recently a Ford F-150. They have done a good job and aren’t outrageously priced.

Weekend car. Barely driven
327 with an Edelbrock 1406
Base package with shift on the column. Does have an SS hood

Ps the transmission needs new seals and that's it

Why would any reputable transmission shop want this headache?
1). The 700R4 is one of the worst transmissions ever made in the 1990’s.
2) The seals are leaking because whoever modified that Camaro didn’t mount it correctly. It’s definitely vibrating.
3) No reputable shop will take that on without a deposit because there’s a very good chance you have other issues that could quickly run into the thousands of dollars.
4). You should never purchase a 60’s muscle cars with a 1990’s drivetrain.

This- when you walk in his office/reception area and his Pro Mod car that he built himself greets you, you will know that your 700R4 is in good hands.

It’s 100% worth it for you to put your baby on a trailer and come an hour and a half south.

You aren't incorrect here. But it's what I have.

It's a muscle car, of course it's vibrating. I've owned it 5 years and it's mounted correctly.

I have no issue with spending money on this car. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't have money to fix it. Most of what I do I do myself but Transmissions are a different animal.

The 4L60E, which debuted in '92, is a 700R4 with electronic control added.

The 700 had problems when it first came out, in the early 80s, that were quickly rectified.

The rest of your post comes across as someone that really doesn't know what he's talking about.
