It’s been a miserable couple of days but hopefully Jay ends this Primeaux experiment and as the season progresses tightens the rotation.

Schloss went all in and it’s clear Jay didn’t. There wasn’t any experimenting from Schloss. It was his best arms in extended roles all weekend.

Texas also has a ton of Texas leaguers this weekend and we really haven’t had that same luck. Should be 5-1 but I won’t complain about 4-2 considering where we were at this point last season lol

You can't question CJJ, its obvious that he never makes a bad decision just look at this board. Its never on him.

I think wasting Cowan with a six run lead is more questionable. I understand it but it put us in a real bind yesterday and today.

It has been painfully obvious Evans needs to be 1st guy out of the pen like Cowan. This whole lefty righty bullshite only works when you have guys that can hit the zone.

Please spare me the “they have to grow at some time” line. That sometime is not on the road against Texas up 5-2 on Saturday ready to take the series. Idiotic.

Evans has been fine but they’ve had a lot of traffic and scored a run. Why is it a guarantee that he mows them down yesterday?

The point is Evans has clearly been one of our better arms all season. He should have pitched yesterday and we most likely would have won. It made no sense to go with the arms we did in that situation.

Ok RB10.

You choose.

Today who would you replace Eyanson with. Ware or Evans.

That is the point.

I think not going to Evans yesterday after Eyanson is the real head scratcher.
especially if he can throw this many pitches.

Because there is good reason to believe Schmidt, Ware, Primeaux and Benge could have fricked a 6 run league friday.

that’s not far fetched.

but saving Evans in sunday not know if it would matter is ahead scratcher now.

Agreed

Regardless, having Guidry back and healthy changes the complexion of this a lot as well

Was inconsequential considering he didn’t insert Evans last night when he should have.

After pulling Eyanson in the 4th? How in the world is that a guaranteed win?

Huh? Having Cowan replace Eyanson yesterday with a 5-2 lead changes that entire game.

I think replacing him with Evans would have helped too.

The next 2 pitchers gave up like 4 runs in an inning

I’m aware. I’m addressing this sentiment:

Bringing Evans in the 4th would have been pointless.

But you replied to this

Right. Not using hindsight to declare a complete unknown as true makes me obtuse.

You melters are hilarious.
