I follow Bob Barker's advice to help control the pet population. No pets, and I spay or neuter any that show up at our house. The Harbor Freight veterinary surgical kit does the job.

Two inside cats, one outside stray I'm trying to tame. I'm also feeding birds outside.

One of our cats is a male and he hates men. Cozy's up to the ladies but run's from any guy that's in the house including my son and i . Told the wife if things get tight going to open the front door for him.

quote:

Cavalier king charles

Our 3 dogs are Cavalier's.

2 dogs. They require much more time and effort than the one human kid we have. Still trying to figure out how to claim them as dependents on my taxes.

Two heelers. Briefly had three, but my old one died last summer.

3 year old that I literally dug out of an old barn as a puppy. She quit growing at 25 pounds, so undersized.

1 year old. Acts like a big goofy lab more than a typical heeler.

I’m not sure either of them are full fledged heelers like my first one.

Regular vet bills are crazy. I need to find an old crusty vet. These younger vets are more like chiropractors with how they run their clinics to scam money.
