LSU women's basketball is preparing to host the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday night. LSU students will get free tickets thanks to to Tigers' head coach Kim Mulkey.
On Tuesday, Mulkey announced she was buying out the LSU student section.
"For the fourth straight year, we have earned the ability to host first and second-round games in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 3 seed! Your energy in the PMAC has been unmatched all season long and we need you to be our 6th man during these playoff games. I am pleased to be able to purchase the student tickets for these games in the PMAC. Al wee need if for you to show up, be loud and help propel us to victory!" Mulkey said in a statement.
If LSU beats San Diego State and advances to the second round, Mulkey has that game covered too.
LSU fans will be in for a late on Saturday night. LSU's game vs. SDSU doesn't start until 9:15 PM CT.

If LSU wins on Saturday, Mulkey's crew will play the winner of No. 6 Florida State vs. No. 11 George Mason.

No he hasn’t but didn’t he put up a million dollars to fund our NIL?
No, he hasn’t rebuilt the program as well as we want, but you can’t say he has been cheap.
