depends on how thick you lay it down. 100sf at 2” is about 16cf…at 4” is 32…etc

Area = Volume/Height

A = 3 ft{3} / .2 ft (2.5" depth) = 15ft{2}

How thick do you want it?

3 CF = 36 SF @ 1" thick
3 CF = 18 SF @ 2" thick

I lay down about 2" thick. 100 SF would be 16.67 CF, add 10% to that to be sure you're not short.

100SF x depth in inches / 12 will give you how may CF you need. Divide that by 3 to see how man bags you need

Or 3 CF * 12 / depth in inches will tell you how much 1 bag covers in SF. 100 divided by that number will give the number of bags you need

2 inches thick, 16 2/3 CF you need 6 bags

3 inches thick, 25 CF you need 9 bags

4 inches thick, 8 1/3 CF you need 12 bags
