We are too far gone to save and we deserve everything bad coming our way.

If the government was keeping people from working, how were they supposed to pay their bills? The government never should have put people in that position.

What was Massie's alternative proposal? Did you have a solution other than do nothing?

Sadly, we no longer consider fiscal conservatives, heroes.

I imagine he wanted Trump to rescind the Emergency declaration and the regulations/advice states were told to follow (under lure of federal reimbursement from Covidbucks)

Fiscal conservatives are not what we need right now. They’re the lawyers, not the political warriors required to annihilate the seething, hateful, Marxists that are hellbent on taking any inches given.
You, along with others, aren’t seeing the big picture here.

I was reading through this on X today. He and some others (Peter Schiff iirc) were talking about this back then and got hounded by so many people, yet they identified how it spurs wealth inequality and inflation and by the time the money trickles down, your $1200 stimulus is worth a lot less in buying power.
People forget that things like the CARES Act totaled trillions of dollars and yet all of the rounds of stimulus checks combined were only about $800B - so while the People got a few dollars, Big Money got two times more and it was concentrated into 1/1000000 the number of people.
Trump admin is talking about affordable housing and and reading between the lines it looks like they are making a play for private equity to step in to take advantage of putting up govt land for sale to build new houses (a horrible idea), and Elon is bringing in private equity people to help him with social security. For housing we need to deport 10x what we're doing per day, at least, and tell private equity that they either put their houses on the market in 30 days or they get seized and then they can spend years in court trying to get paid. Less people needing housing and more houses on the market means more affordable housing. These PE groups with people like Mark Andreesen are scumbags. They sue people to force them to sell and try to buy off local governments to use eminent domain and complain that sellers don't want to sell, accusing them of "collusion" when that is exactly what the PE groups are doing, and worse. PE has been one of the worst things for our economy. Then you have private billionaire buyers like Zuckerberg that con and steal people's land, like he did in Hawaii.
Both parties are hot garbage and both parties team up with Big Money to screw everyone else.

So, Massie plan then was the same as his plans now - Do Nothing. Vote No on everything, then in hindsight he can remind everyone he voted No on something unpopular.
Except, Massie doesn't like to remind anyone that he Voted Yes to save McCarthy.
And he doesn't like to be reminded that he voted Yes for the Consolidated Appropriations Act, omnibus spending bill for Biden.
So, he basically is there for the Democrats anytime they truly need him.
