I think Newsome is hoping that their budget issues become a big deal and they ask for federal relief. They will play the empathy card and have the MSM to play it all up and make Trump look like a monster who won’t help people who need medical care.

What would be hilarious, is if Trump said 0% federal aid but then sent a medical ship over to LA and Oakland and say we will offer free medical services to anyone, legal or illegal, but if illegal you will be deported after being treated by doctor.

This is the biggest example why the lefts version of universal healthcare can never work.
Universal healthcare in theory would be difficult on its bases due to government inefficiency and fraud. However it’s impossible to have a well funded social services when half the people who use them don’t pay into the system.
You can not have a strong social safety net and unregulated immigration.
