Just watched Plane on Peacock - so stupid and so friggin great. Better than almost any other movie I've seen in the last six months, I actually got a little verklempt at the end! Copshop is also streaming on Peacock - not as good but still fun, and Butler brings it as always. Den of Theives 2 is coming to Netflix soon - can't wait.

Hate to tell you this but if you loved the first one, you are going to be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad movie but it pales in comparison to the first one.

copshop
plane
den of thieves

i'll add

Greenland
Angel has Fallen
Last Seen Alive
Kandahar

are all decent little flicks that are pretty enjoyable for a good 2 hours.

when i was doublechecking his filmography, I finally see that All Star Weekend is coming this year after apparently 10 years of production hell.

LINK

i remember that it popped up when i was looking at what Jeremy Piven was up to and was excited to see him in something and it never came.

I got about 1/2 way through Plane, and it is so damn good. can't wait to finish it up.

Butler gets shite on for some of his movies, but the dude is solid.

Butler makes good movies. They aren’t the best and not the worst either. But a very entertaining filmography especially in the last decade

Butler is the man and I would kill to see him in a real movie. He gives 100% effort in every role and never mails anything in. He's very competent but likes to stay in his lane and print money with his action schlock

i feel like the only movies he really gets much credit for as acting are Phantom and 300 as a legit actor. maybe Law Abiding Citizen.

outside of that, he's probably just regarded as an entertaining actor who chooses some fun roles.

i'm hopeful for HTTYD. I hope it smokes Snow White.

About as close as we’ll ever get to old school 80s action flicks returning. I love this movie.

The assault on the final building in London Has Fallen with him and the SAS is really intense and really well shot.
