If anyone is in the market for tires - Banner Ford in Mandeville is running a Buy 3 Get 1 tire free special. Ends Wednesday. Not sure which manufacturers are included, but I am getting the Nitto Recon Grapplers and they were eligible.
I called them on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised. No where online can touch that price.

I’ve had great experiences with their service department over the years.

I just replaced tires on my truck. CAlled Banner for a similar sale they were running to just ask about price. I was able to beat the price by about $300 bucks by using Abita Full Serve.

Yea this sale was only March 14th - March 19th. Called everywhere and No one could touch the price being it was Buy 3 get 1 free. I’m paying a little more on the install, but I’ll also get free tire rotations for the life of the tires since they’re installing.
Typically would never buy tires from a dealer but they were cheaper by alot.

Dodge/Mopar dealerships run that special all the time. You don't need to drive a Dodge either.
Looks like they're currently running that special through the end of April.

Im actually glad businesses are starting to let people choose if they want to pay for the convenience of a credit card.

that's cute you think their labor rates went down when deciding to carve out the cc fees.

Its cute you think they just eat the costs and don't pass them onto the consumer.

They should be giving a discount for paying cash

I pay with a check (which I never have on me) to avoid the CC fees. I feel it's fairly poor customer perception of having a line item for the CC fees. Just build the CC cost into the labor or materials.
I've had mixed results from Banner over the years. Not thrilled with their diesel mechanics, they're part changers, not mechanics.

I kind of like having the option to get a small discount if I bring cash

This trend started several years ago at 99% of the shops, dealership and private owned.
