Same question. It may open up Ja'mar a bit.

The price a quality Reciever gets is crazy. I'll say they may be the most talented players on the field, but the rules about knocking the shite out of them has helped and hurt.

I don't want the most talented players knocked unconcense by a slower mid LB, but that was what some had to play through. If it was just flag football the quick and elusive would beat the strong tuf guys every time.

so...im not against or in favor of hard hits. Just be fair about it.

With Chase and Higgins now under new multiyear deals, Cincinnati has the playmakers to rebuild its status as a title contender.

A damn good defense would make a world of difference. And I'm not gonna name names.

Bengals offense going to score 50 a game and opponent going to score 55 with Cincy defense. If you got a fantasy team you should be getting burrow and chase.

It does no good to have a great qb and wrs if the QB is always picking his arse up off of the turf.

The Bengals are a terribly run organization, they could have gotten all their guys for significantly less $ if they would have elected to pay them sooner...glad Chase got paid.

They will have to go full press on D in the draft to make the dollars work.

Bengals need an OL. Joe Burrow is going to be like Andrew Luck soon.

Every time a new contract gets signed I read about it either being the highest paid Qb in history or the highest paid non QB in history

These agents are absolutely working over these NFL teams. (I mean this in general, not necessarily chase)

no they are simply taking advantage of market conditions. The cap keeps skyrocketing, there’s less freely available players worth paying in FA, teams are required to spend the money, and he plays a premium position at a higher level than his peers

If the agents were whipping around the NFL owners, you’d see a lot more guys hitting FA/ the tag and fully guaranteed deals would be commonplace

Good for Chase--I'm happy for him. But unless the Bengals hire (i) a competent defense, (ii) a competent offensive line and (iii) a competent head coach, the only trip he'll be making in January is to the bank.
