Today the Yankees announced that Carlos Rodon would get the start on Opening Day. I thought there was no way the Mets could manage to find a worse Opening Day starter than that, but then again, this is the Mets we’re talking about. So ladies and gentlemen, the Mets Opening Day Starting Pitcher…

CLAY HOLMES!!!

Also, a pic from the future of Juan Soto inside Citi Field in October.

Juan Soto was 11 the last time the Yankees won a title

Juan Soto is a fatass that won’t sniff last year’s stats without THE JUDGE protecting him.

I fricking hate Clay Holmes but he will probably have a better year than Rondon.

Brian Cashamn needs to be fired.

Imagine signing a 31year old pitcher to a 8 year contract and then he can't even be your opening day starter.

Why the hate on Rodon? His fast ball gets smacked around at times but he has enough stuff to still get Ks(196 in 2024). With Cole out maybe Fried might be the best pitcher but I think his addition will be more disappointment.

Rodon is respectable enough but you should be more pissed the Yanks will have to rely on Stroman as their 4th pitcher more than anything.

Melt.

Imagine being dumb enough to say this about the best pure hitter since Gwynn(RIP) and Bonds.

Take a lap.

The Yankees have fallen so far as a franchise they can only flex on the Mets

Tell me a better hitter since Bonds retired.

I'll give you Miggy and Pujols. Who else?

He was 26 the last time the Yankees blew their chance at winning one.
