When staying at a Hotel, do you keep the key cards for a collection?

I do. I also sort them in alphabetical order based on affiliation. So if it is hotel owned by Hilton, all the Hiltons are together.. etc.

I’ve reported you to ICE for immediate deportation.

When I stay at a hotel I drain the soaps into my own container. I have a spare bathtub in the backyard where I dump them. It's going on 2 years, but we have almost filled it to the top. I've seen a snake or three in there from time to time. When it's full I'm going to do a belly flop into it.

This sounds like something I would do.

I returnn then to the front desk.

No real reason other than it's what I've always done.

No, I do keep coffee stirrers from hotels, resorts, golf courses, airlines, etc. worldwide though if they are unique

This might be something I look into.. as a collector who loves categorizing things, this sounds fun!

Always handy to have one when you travel, in case you stay at hotel that needs one to keep the lights and a/c on when you’re out.

I do not. I leave them on the desk next to my tip.

Wonder if you ever tried and old key card to see if it worked on another trip to the same location?

I used to, I’ve got over 1,700 nights at Marriott. The bags of keys were getting heavy. I got rid of them though a few years ago and don’t keep them anymore.

Idk .. but several times over the years I have walked in on guests in their room and have been walked in on once.

Always use the door lock and put something behind the door.

My wife and I used to sort ours in order of how good our sexual experiences were. I figured you and Nymeria did the same.

I've kept I think two in 1000+ nights. One from a Marriott in Korea (needed a book mark), and the other one from a special place in Paris. Other than that, I don't want them, because they can be easy to mix up when you're hitting one Marriott after another.
