There's a thread on this board right now about why people hate on ULL, and on cue you delivered a big reason why. I don't think the most passionate McNeese basketball fans expected Wade to last long term. They just enjoyed the ride as long as they got to ride it.

McNeese probably won’t have as good of a coach as Will Wade in the rest of our lifetime. Just be thankful we were able to witness 2 history making seasons. I hope he’s successful wherever he goes. He’s done his time even though he didn’t deserve the punishment.

We’re about to feel the cold hand of inevitability when he’s hired away to an NC State or the like. It’s crazy that the only thing LSU fans have to hope for is a return that won’t happen and when that reality hits the program will be as close to death as it ever has.

If anything, Wade shouldn’t return to LSU just for spite. LSU and Woodward didn’t have his back. If I’m Wade, I’m finding a SEC school strictly to make LSU my perennial bitch.
