He’s been impressive. Obviously his speed, and defensively his glove has been great thus far. But more importantly is his patience at the plate. He has been exceptional at choosing which ball to swing at and he’s correct a lot!

He's had some bad baseball luck hitting the ball well but right at guys. Even still He's been pretty productive.

His biggest flaw is that he elevates the ball. Just no self awareness for the type of hitter he is.

If he ever changed that approach it would bump his productivity

He also has not proven to be an effective base stealer, which is another mystery because a guy with his stature and speed should be great at getting leads and moving on the base paths virtually every time he’s on base.

I like his attitude too. He's always hype and high fiving his teammates. Looks genuinely happy to be in purple and gold.

He is a lot better in the 9 hole than leadoff. Props to Jay on that quick switch

Nice addition to the team....better to be a "real" tiger than Auburn's cartoon one.

No doubt, he is handling the bat well and turning over the lineup to Curiel and Jones who have been red hot.

This is supposed to be a positive post and yet a little insecure prick inserted his negative opinion. News Flash: Nobody Cares What You Think.

I respect his demeanor in the batter's box. He isn't fidgety. He isn't bouncing around, adjusting his helmet, twisting the bat, eyes darting around. He is very chill. Seeing a batter so centered and calm is great.

Similar to a change Jared Jones made last year that has helped a lot. Both very Crews-esque

Here’s the thing. Reality checks have to be true statements.

Stanfield leads the team in ground ball rate.

Willie Mays Hayes and I say that as a compliment. Also hit mostly popups at the start of the season. Blazing quick but needed a little time to dial it in. Played CF.

I was going to say, based off of his demeanor, he doesn't GAF what any of us think.
