If you’re under 40, you should be ecstatic.

I started investing in my 20s right at the beginning of a 2-year bear market. It seemed like every time I checked my account, it was in the red. Always fricking red. It was starting to piss me off. I was too dumb at the time to realize my good fortune.

If you’re relatively young and not taking advantage of times like this, you’re making a mistake.

Well, I'm a little under 50 but I'm pretty much fully invested outside of my bi-weekly deposits. What sucks is that I rolled over a 401k into an IRA in mid Jan and thought about trickling it back into the market since stocks were so expensive, but I didn't do it

What if you're 51? I'm sitting on a ton of cash and was starting to get antsy. I actually feel a little relief that shite is dropping like I hoped.

Please tell us your super early retirement plan that is opposed to buying more shares when they are getting beat up? I need to look into this.

Or please tell us your retirement plan that implodes if the market drops down to where it was 6 months previous, so I can not get in on this.

Or wait until they’re 65 to use their money to for a down payment.

And if you are mid 50s and have seen your account drop $210k in 20 days?

I was considering retiring in 5 years (at 59 1/2) but this may extend me all the way to 65.

Must be exciting actually believing that your investments will go up 20% a year forever. I’m almost jealous I didn’t trick myself into believing this and partying like I would retire when I turn 40 for the last few years

Pay off my mortgages and max everything I can between 401k Roth then rest goes to my investment account.

Once my net worth hits 5MM I’m done

Right now my asset allocation is 60% real estate 40% cash/investments. Looking to shift this to more 30/60 heavy on investments

If your plan factors in zero downturns over 5 years, it probably isn’t very realistic, especially after the last 2 years.

Just bought $7K of SCHG at end of day in a ROTH IRA. I'm not touching it for decades so I have to think technology will recover.

Real decision will be on when I want to use taxable brokerage dry powder. I'm leaning towards heavier DCA into this over the next couple of weeks.

The DOW is still almost 42,000 and S&P 5600. Why is this even a topic. In all fairness the market is inflated so far beyond what it has dropped its ridiculous. We’re all playing with Monopoly money at this point.

I'm 52, still working, sitting on a pile of cash I pulled out 3 weeks ago waiting for the inflated market to get popped (thanks Warren Buffet). Look at the P/E's, that was unsustainable.

I expect a really good correction simply out of fear of the unknown. There will be a time to buy GREAT stocks at a huge discount.

We aren't NEAR the bottom, and I don't recommend trying to catch a falling knife.

Buy BTC while it is cheap and don't look back.
