Clearly you didn’t read the article. Stripping a law firm that unethically engaged in an attempt to frame the President as a Russian asset of their security clearance is not vindictive retaliation.

He is using the power of the federal government to retaliate against law firms for the "sin" of representing parties who opposed him in the past.
I would have a problem with that, regardless of the persons or parties involved.
