So glad the silliness of a made up holiday called Mardi Gras is over

Never understood the fighting over 5 cent beads and second hand thrown stuffed animals embedded with nasty arse germs from hands that have been holding pissing dicks all day from porta johns .......and yes, I am fun at parties. Just never got into the begging for trinkets

Your cliche gripe notwithstanding, I tend to agree. It's one of those events that I may enjoy if I was single or had kids. Neither of those apply, so I can take it or leave it.

Me and my friends used to see who could get the most sets of doubloons. A set is one of each color doubloon, it was fun. I’m 59 and no longer try to catch anything.
