Also, this just in, at age 40, LeBron James just became the oldest player in NBA history to become the Western Conference Player of the Month. King James averaged 29.3 PPG, 10 RPG, and 6.9 APG.

Just another reminder to all the naysayers that this is the BEST player, the BEST athlete, of any sport, of all time!!!

King James = GOAT!!!!

Longevity doesn't make you the best. Nobody in their right mind would take Emmitt Smith over Barry Sanders.

You're an idiot if you think LeBron only has longevity.

Crazy. Feels like just yesterday I was watching Stuart Scott narrate his high school highlights on Sportscenter.

It seems like he took the secret serum that captain america took.

How he has been able to stay as healthy as he has for this long is crazy.

I despise LeBron but I’m willing to give him the title of best athlete of all time.

Best basketball player will always and forever be MJ.

Not sure how he won this when Jokic and SGA were objectively better throughout February.

Longevity isn't dispositive but it counts for something. And LeBron isn't doing what Emmitt did in his twilight years, he's performing close to his peak averages.

There is no such thing as "objectively." Not in sports, not in life. But subjectively, LeBron is a tree-shredding machine. He came into the NBA with the highest expectations ever from an 18-year-old. He averaged over 20 points a game in his rookie year. Since then, for the next 20 years, LeBron has averaged at least 25 points a game, every, single, year. Then he gives you the thunderous dunks, still, incredible blocks when it matters most, clutch late-game shooting, and leadership that is unmatched.

During the recent Olympics, he was the BEST player on the court in every game they played. Then LeBron gives you rebounds and assists that no other player can even attempt to come close to with over 50,000 points. By every measuring stick known to the NBA, it's just not even close.

People can marvel at his older years and I do too, but that man has been the more dominant player in the NBA and pro-sports in general.

I would venture to bet that if LeBron would have remained neutral on everything political, he would be considered hands down the GOAT. However his dumbass just couldn’t keep his mouth shut

Funny, cause that's what they said about Muhammad Ali, and a whole lot more. And all he ever accomplished was to become the most celebrated and recognizable sports personality in the world.

Turns out you can speak your mind and be loved.

LeBron is an incredible, generational athlete.

LeBron is a gaping pussy.

Both can be true.
