Clearly not cursing. He did mention race (1st black man…..silence). Clearly not cursing.
This is the first time I’ve seen the Oscars mute when speaking about race. Thoughts?

There is 0 chance they are bleeping content based on social or political commentary. Whatever you think u perceived it wasn't that.

He said something nice about Trump!

When were the Oscars?

There were no bleeps of comments about race.
The agenda, however, was to avoid politics for the most part. That was made clear, and that’s a big part of why Conan was the host

Rewatch it. As soon as the gentlemen stated he was the “first black man to ……..”. long mute.

I remember a couple of sound issues, but don’t remember clearly.
I don’t think the broadcast was at all overly-political, but the tolerance level on the board is pretty low.

Watching it now, Conan says, "Very quickly another congratulations to Paul Tazewell from Wicked, this is amazing, for the first black man to win for costume design. Which I think is impressive, amazing. And you know what that means ball's in your court Estonia."

It wasn’t Conan. It was Paul’s speech. Maybe it truly was a sound glitch. The timing was perfect if so lol

I was making lunch during his speech. Rewind...
Paul says, "I'm the first black man to recieve costume design award for Wicked. I'm so proud of this. Thank you mom and Emma so much. Thank you everyone in the UK for all your beautiful work I could not have done this without you...."

And according to Universal we're supposed to believe Chalize Theron is jealous of Kristen Stewart.

Why not both? Listen, yes, Charlize is hotter. But there’s something about Stewart that digs deep.

Early Stewart maybe. Lately Stewart looks like Melissa Ethridge.
