AOC sends letter to Bondi asking if she's under investigation for aiding aliens

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), the firebrand socialist darling of the radical left, is sweating bullets.
And who’s got her running scared? None other than America’s no-nonsense “Border Czar,” Tom Homan, who’s vowed to hold her accountable.
In a frantic letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, the New York congresswoman is scrambling to find out if the Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating her for coaching illegal aliens on how to evade ICE.
The controversy erupted when Tom Homan openly criticized Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, accusing her of leveraging her platform to obstruct immigration enforcement efforts.
This accusation follows his statement on February 13, 2025, where Homan revealed his request to the Deputy Attorney General to initiate a probe into AOC’s activities, ominously noting that she would be “in trouble now.”
Tom Homan told Laura Ingraham: I sent an email today to Deputy Attorney General. At what level is that impedement? Is that impediment? I’m not an attorney. I’m not a prosecutor. Is that impediment? Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts. If so, what are we going to do about it? Is she crossing the line? I’m working with the Department of Justice and finding out where is that line that they cross.
AOC proudly announced that she was holding webinars to teach illegal aliens how to avoid ICE agents in New York City.
The letter sent on Thursday reads like a paranoid manifesto from a politician who knows the jig might be up.
AOC demands “clarity” from Bondi on whether the DOJ has “yielded to political pressure” to investigate her for what she calls “exercising her First Amendment rights.”
“Mr. Homan’s repeated attempts to use your agency to politically intimidate duly elected officials are a textbook threat to the right to free speech,” AOC whines in her letter, conveniently forgetting that free speech doesn’t cover aiding and abetting lawbreakers.
She even drags the First Amendment into her sob story, quoting it like a shield while accusing Homan of “weaponizing” the DOJ against her. It’s a classic leftist move—cry “victim” when the law finally catches up.
Read the full letter below:
“I write to request clarity on whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) has yielded to political pressure and attempts to weaponize the agency against elected officials whose speech they disagree with. Over the past two weeks, “Border Czar” Tom Homan has gone on multiple forums threatening political prosecution against me, citing resources I distributed informing my constituents and the American public of their constitutional and legal rights.
On February 13, 2025, Mr. Homan announced that he had asked the Deputy Attorney General to open an investigation, and that I will be “in trouble now.” It has been 14 days since Mr. Homan first threatened to weaponize your agency, but I have not yet heard any referral from the federal government. Homan’s actions undercut core Constitutional rights and further transparency is necessary.
I am sure you aware of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Indeed, last week, Vice President Vance said that “we may disagree with your views, but we will fight to defend your right to offer it in the public square.” Mr. Homan’s repeated attempts to use your agency to politically intimidate duly elected officials are a textbook threat to the right to free speech in the United States. Threatening criminal proceedings for exercising the First Amendment is itself a violation of the First Amendment.
Educating the public about their rights, especially in a time of rising uncertainty, is a key part of our responsibility as elected officials. A government that uses threats of DOJ investigations to suppress free speech is a threat to all, regardless of political ideology.
Please respond no later than March 5, 2025, with an update on the Department of Justice’s response to Mr. Homan’s request and transparency as to whether my office or myself is actively under investigation for exercising their First Amendment rights and executing on our congressional responsibilities.”

"We dont comment on ongoing investigations"

In before the usual suspects attack the source rather than address the actual topic.

This was already discussed in detail yesterday
The problem with the source:

Panicked AOC

Tell AOC to pound sand. She's working to subvert US sovereignty. She should definitely be under investigation.

AOC would be far more popular if she would stop talking and just give us more of this:

I'm glad she's doing this. It's basically challenging the administration to put up or shut up.
So much so far has been fluff social media headlines, but no one is being actually perp walked.
Trump's team is going to look foolish if it's all bark, no bite.
Hopefully, AOC is about to find out.

Exactly
She's baiting them. She's in no way "panicked"

Trump's team is going to look foolish if it's all bark, no bite.
Or, if they do, it will almost assuredly backfire
Does anyone think that she is scared of a manhattan, brooklyn, or DC jury? Going to trial and winning would be the biggest thing for her career and potentially put her in literal American history scholarship moving forward.

Thank you for outing yourself as one of the aforementioned usual suspects. I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist

I'm glad she is, it'll show whether this Trump admin is truly different than the last one. You can't just get on the news and get sound bites, at some point they'll have to act.

How can you deny what she's doing? I can't stand this board's echo chamber status. Trump's admin has been great so far talking about big game, but we haven't seen much follow through.
AOC is directly spitting in their faces after Homan called her out. They either do something or they're gonna look really fricking foolish.

She must have Zelensky Syndrome.
She holds no cards and is not in a position to give any ultimatums or deadlines. FAFO

This is insane even if true.
Tom Homan only said he will ask the DOJ if she broke the law. If she did, she will be prosecuted.
AOC is indeed panicked because her lawyers are telling her a case can be made for impediment.

See my above post. If she didn’t break the law they aren’t required to do anything nor will they. They are investigating to see if a law has been broken.
Some of you are acting like she’s a felon and running around free. Chill.

If she indeed is holding webinars, then there is smoking gun video evidence of severe violations of 8 U.S. Code § 1324, and AOC is actually even more stupid than I ever could have imagined. And I already thought she had the IQ of cold oatmeal, so that's really saying something.
If this is true, Tom Homan is finna eat. AOC should already be in prison anyway for her photo op stunt crying against the chain link fence of an unoccupied illegal immigrant holding facility.
