Watching Tucker’s interview with surgeon on DEI

Based on my conversations with my surgeon friends who have retired or about to , the DEI trend is destroying the practice and putting our lives at risk . I just had a pacemaker put in by a great young surgeon and when I asked how many pacemakers he had installed, said 2,6700 and I said do it and he did . If I had a DEI minority surgeon who said he had done less than 50 , I would have gone to our state’s teaching hospital instead . Unfortunately for patients coming in by ER , they would probably get this guy . Like everything else driven by racial quotas and DEI , our surgical practices are becoming third world in less than 10 years.

Ok, it's fine to say DEI most likely helped some people get into med school, but can we stop pretending that DEI means they don't have to pass the same tests and meet the same standards to graduate and become certified?

They have dumbed down the entrance tests to med school to accommodate DEI and the product is reprehensible

The only people who fear DEI are mediocre white men.
There is a shortage of medical professionals. No one is turning away qualified people of any color from hospitals.

lol imagine being this dumb
Under qualified people of color are getting priority in med school over white kids. It’s been going on for YEARS.

Had a pacemaker installed by a young, but very experienced surgeon with the DeBakey Group 8 years ago. My wife pulled the plug on my original Indian doctor, she didn't like his approach. The doctor that did mine even gave me the choice to decide which side to put the pacemaker, since I was lefthanded. Even though the right side was a more invasive procedure, he said it would allow me to shoot a rifle with my normal left shoulder, no problem with any kickback affecting the pacemaker. Even did a great job with a minimal scar. Glad my wife was there to help me with my options, but the point of it all, everyone needs to do research, don't feel like you have to settle for an inexperienced surgeon or someone you have questions about their surgical abilities, especially with so many DEI hires having been pushed on us everywhere! .

Is that what you told yourself when you failed to get into any medical schools? Poor thing. It’s always someone else’s fault, isn’t it?

I didn’t expect a below average white guy to co-sign my statement. Looks like I was right.
The cream always rises to the top. People like you who always look for someone to blame for your shortcomings don’t understand that.

Lysenkoism
They’re hiding STEP scores to get more BIPOC people in “top” specialties. God knows we need more black plastic surgeons.

First of all you dont know anything about me and I dont need to justify anything about myself to you. I'm very succesful in my field, enough to earn over 20k a month in a performance based role.
I deal with DEI hires on a daily basis, specifically in engineering roles that would shock one if they could see what I see. The multi-layered effects of these hires are profound and devastatimg.
Race and gender should play NO PART in any hiring process.
#1 - its a morale killer when someone is elevated into a position they are unqualified for, everyone below them cares less about their job.
#2 - everyone has to work harder to pick up the slack
#3 - HR will make sure they arent held accountable for any issues related to their incompetence
#4 the DEI hire will be aware of #3 and become imboldened by their race/gender armor.
#5 you are reducing people to a check mark in a box, we are not defined by our race and gender.
Why do you hate white men? You are the oppo world female Clayton Bigsby

I worked for over three decades in corporate America for two very large, visible consumer products companies.
First, let me say the only minorities discussed were blacks and females, apparently hispanics, east indian and asian are on their own.
Second, when I walked into a meeting, be it supervisor, manager, director, VP level, if there was a black in the room, you can be assured with 85% confidence of two things. They were the highest paid and the least qualified.
Not their fault its dei, they were so concerned about having X number at each level, if the person showed any inkling of being qualified they were moved to the next level.

curb your self-delusion there bud - you are referencing one of the better posters on this forum, while you have a pretty low objectivity quotient.
I'm being kind in my response in the hope that you are not just some paid bot.
You need to come with some sort of point or logic if you want to be taken seriously.
edit - just read some more of your replies - you are hopelessly ignorant, combined with feelings of adequacy.

And probably changed the tests and finals to allow the DEI candidates (who werent qualified to get in under the historical standards) to graduate.

If you can't get into med school even though you have higher scores than someone else who gets in because of the color of their skin, then frick yes its someone else’s fault, you dumb bitch.
