Way too early to tell but JFK was no friend of Israel especially when it came to helping them get the H bomb and he was verbal about dismantling the CIA after the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Based on my conversations with my surgeon friends who have retired or about to , the DEI trend is destroying the practice and putting our lives at risk . I just had a pacemaker put in by a great young surgeon and when I asked how many pacemakers he had installed, said 2,6700 and I said do it and he did . If I had a DEI minority surgeon who said he had done less than 50 , I would have gone to our state’s teaching hospital instead . Unfortunately for patients coming in by ER , they would probably get this guy . Like everything else driven by racial quotas and DEI , our surgical practices are becoming third world in less than 10 years.
