That is funny. Jim has been a great friend for a long time. We speak every day. Who were you dating at the time? Those LSU Ave. years were a good time.
I had never heard of Tigerdroppings until I googled TJ Ribs, and up popped some brutal reviews of Ribs. I wonder what happened? Baton Rouge has been incredible to Ribs. Hopefully, we will have one in Layfayette soon.

At Ribs and Ninfas we are starting a round it up fund raiser for The Big Cats of Indiana, where the new Mike is from, to help them feed, groom and house their cats. Imagine if other restaurants joined in how much we could raise. LSU is behind it, and so should other restaurants in the Louisiana area.
really good to hear. Be sure to post details at a later date.

i think you'll see the posters on this food and drink board are not typical of the BR dining public. A lot of the posters here are BBQ purists (some from texas, memphis, etc), others are not from BR and didn't grow up going to TJ's, and others are just extremely critical of many restaurants in general.
This board, while very knowledgeable, can be unreasonably harsh at times as well....and other times it's justified.
Personally, i grew up in BR and my parents went to moran's joints on a regular basis. I loved TJ ribs growing up but as i have gotten more into smoking and bbq i now like a different style of rib. But, i am in the minority in BR. Also, as an LSU fan it's still fun to go to TJ Ribs from time to time.

No naming names on here but here is a hint... you were at our rehearsal dinner in Dallas on 4th of July.
LSU Ave was a fun place to hang out back in the good old days -- I think about it every time I drive down the street!

Thanks for editing the post after you realized that
1. WHAT YOU WRITE ABOUT ME IS A LIE
2. OUR CHILDREN CAN SEE EVERYTHING YOU WRITE
maybe it is time to grow up and start concentrating on your girlfriend rather than bashing me for our kids to see, Venicetiger
FWIW, I rarely post and in this case I only posted something in response to someone you knew THROUGH ME

So? It's not like I care enough to say anything. And technically, CB (or WL, if that's who you mean) is still my boss, just not a direct one anymore.

I don't let them log on -- I have it blocked from their but they know all about TD from watching you do it all the time and they talk about you being on all the time so if they choose, from any other computer they can read your posts because they know your screen name --

remember, you don't have to log on to read posts

Wow, the party in Dallas was great. It was at the house of the man who owned Mi Cocina in the Dallas area? About a year ago we ate at the one in Plano and it was packed. The food was perfect.
I'm sorry to hear about the marriage. After being married and having children, I pray for them all to work out. That was quite a comeback by (A), you can't mention names right.
I wish everyone the best. If your ever in Montana give me a call. We are opening a restaurant in Bozeman Feb. 9th.
