Spanish Town Royalty/Kiran Refuse Local News Interview on Parade

I anyone else following this story? I think Kiran has been away from that news channel for over 10 years, yet they're still salty.

Kiran deserves a huge amount of respect for building a local independent news service. Especially at a time where many media outlets are closing their doors

I've heard WAFB and WBEZ refused Kiran interviews. They're scared. Maybe it's time for a new media outlet in Baton Rouge.

Very surprised WBRZ refused to let her on since she had no affiliation with them. I get WAFB since she got herself fired from there. Sounds like she is just toxic.

Knowing what I know, i would bet the other way around. It's likely the news channels that are the problem.

During the last 15 years or so the local 'news' channels in the BR area have gone down in quality astoundingly .
Probably an effect of the advent of getting news from the internet.
Channel 9 is almost amateurish , the decline of ad revenue is killing them.
