Either let the bots call the game or not. The challenge system is horrible and abused.

As long as its quick and limited so it's not every questionable pitch, I'm fine with it. There have been some really obnoxious calls the last few years that should have had people fired. Umpireauditor on IG highlights them, routinely showing 9-12" off the plate being called strikes.

Ok, so fix that by having automatic overturn of all pitches egregiously miscalled. See a standard of 4” or something and leave the rest alone.

The strike zone they define is just too small.

The other day I saw a pitch right at or below a guys belt called a strike and then overturned as being above the zone. F that.

How many of you guys saying the existing system wasn’t good enough even watch a lot of baseball?

Baseball needs to get rid of the bad apple umpires, but this feels like throwing the baby out with the bath water. We are going to kill baseball by analyzing it to death.

The robot will call the game however one likes. All you'd need to do is adjust the parameters of the strike zone.

They need to just get rid of all reviews across the board in baseball. Make the umps stand by their work

bullshite. MLB umps are incredible. You are calling 200+ pitches a night with dudes throw 100 and 99% of your calls are correct. It’s pretty amazing actually.

You just have some DEI hires with tenure than make everyone else look bad.

Well, most of them are obvious and others are swung at which doesn't require any judgment at all. I do agree that most are better than they're given credit for, but no they're not 99% accurate on borderline calls

While I agree with this somewhat, its only because Angel Hernandez retired.

If the tv networks got rid of the strike zone box, the zone would be what the umpire is willing to give the pitcher and the hitter adjust. The way it should be.
