I was about to post Beetle. I remember that guy running skips baseball camp. I thought he was so old in 1992 when I was 13. He was only about 42.

I was gonna go “Smoke” based on the size of the cigars he smoked. Ron Polk had a funny story about Skip and Smoke. Said the loser had to give the winner a cigar and Skip’s were small and cheap. Smoke gave out stogies.

I think you may have mixed up the coaches on that staff.
Peavy was Charlie Peavy, the QB coach and play caller. Scooter was Scooter Purvis, the defensive backs coach.
