Everyone seems to be ok, thank God!

Delta Air Lines passengers were forced to evacuate after smoke filled the cabin at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday.

The Boeing 717-200 was headed to Columbia Metropolitan Airport, South Carolina, when haze overwhelmed the cabin.

The flight landed at around 9am - and all 94 passengers, two pilots and three flight attendants on board were forced to flee the aircraft using the emergency exit slides.

Do you think the FAA layoffs and Elon/SpaceX's intimidation of the Air traffic control headquarters do not affect the team members' daily lives/work?

Have you ever worked in a hostile place you know is actively looking to fire you? Production generally declines rapidly

no. You moron. Air traffic control had nothing to do with the fricking cabin filling with smoke. What an idiot you are.

The recently hired pilot was putting on her powder before takeoff, in front of the a/c vent

Correct—this thread's title questions the frequency of all recent aviation events.

Air traffic control didn’t cause the hard landing and gear failure and they also didn’t cause the helicopter pilot to hit the plane. What a complete idiot you are.

What is the frequency of air traffic controllers causing Boeing jets to fill with smoke?

It's funny how Boeing's quality standards and attention to detail suddenly increased once the FAA got involved.

Have you ever worked in a regulated industry? What human behavior naturally occurs when you know the entity that can impact your business is no longer watching you or is not as powerful?

I also work in the Aviation industry.

To say none of this impacts the industry is disingenuous and discounts the human behavior that occurs with any business disruption.

Obviously, something is going on. Now, whether it's a direct root cause or a supporting cause is the debate, which is why I posed my thoughts as a question.

This still doesn’t account for any of the incidents. You dumb idiot. The helicopter pilot was military. The hard landing was pilot error. The FAA didn’t cause the cabin to fill with smoke. You want so badly to blame Trump. Soooo badly.

Were there a lot of crashes when Reagan fired all of them? Of course not. You idiot.

There it is. You’re one of those who is likely to get laid off? No wonder you hate Trump. Learn to code.

If anything is going on it’s because morons like you are in the aviation industry.

Boeing has a new CEO who is an engineer and not an accountant, lawyer or stock analyst. Musk said he was an excellent choice to get Boeing back on track.

What happens when DEI goes so far that the FAA wants to hire people with mental health problems and throws out proven standards to meet their goals.

Obviously, something is going on.

It's not a morale problem, it is a DEI hiring problem.

Hey genus, tell us how overworked controllers cause aircraft maintenance problems.

God damn, that is hilarious.

fricking Trump lost my wife's luggage on a flight to Vegas 12 years ago and he wasn't even president yet. Any fool can see he's a Deep State plant!
