Why is everybody freaking out about Kash’s girlfriend?

I’m very confused by this. Yes, she’s hot and a country music singer but why is everybody obsessed about this? It’s not she is Taylor Swift level singer.

Had no idea about his personal life. Had no idea who his girlfriend was (and still do not know who she is). Did not know anyone cared let alone was "freaking out" about her. You must be my teen son's girlfriend.
