bullshite. The second you have a confirmation of a booking through the third party, you call the actual hotel to confirm. That's common sense.

That happened to me one time. Not the beating the employee. But I booked a place on Priceline and paid. Got there and they didn't have my reservation. I wound up staying at a hotel down the street.
