Republicans control the Senate, House and Exec. and everyone is talking about tax cuts.

Where’s the Bill on Immigration?
Where’s the Bill limiting authority of regulatory bodies?
How about standards for national elections?
Where’s the budget including cuts for these agencies with rampant fraud and waste?
How about a bill restricting NGO’s from making political contributions?

Hell…I’d settle for anything positive that moves the ball. More tax cuts are great - except we’re $37T in debt and if we don’t do these other things all of these EO’s will be a fart in the wind if the tides change.

2 years to be safe. There’s no guarantee any of this can get done after the midterms.

While technically correct, this all needs to be codified by midterms. So 23 months instead of 47 remaining to get it done.

Why do they need a border bill? They are enforcing the current laws and crossing are down 93%

They are working on that bill for March. I guess we will find out what all is in it then.

Trump just proved that we have the laws, we just needed the will to enforce them.

To better codify it and protect from a future administration going rogue.

How about a law that no federal agency can spend money on anything outside of its mandate - which are set and enforced through congressional committee?

Surely all of this legislation has been prepared and sitting there ready to go?

Clarifying or restricting the asylum language alone would help - and avoid what we’ve dealt with over the last 4 years.

Cut Medicaid to fund tax cuts for the wealthy. That money will eventually trickle down to the middle/working class at some point.

Relax, Dems won't be able to cheat elections like they have(for various reasons) and the Rs are going to get filibuster proof levels in the Senate and will have 300+ members in Congress. That's when Trump shoves everything through that will finally get this country in the right direction and no future dem Pres will be able to change it with an EO.

No

I’m one of those idiots that have lived through multiple cycles where Republicans get control and don’t do shite that they’ve promised. Trump can’t do it all by himself and there are some pretty basic things that need to be written into law ASAP.

No Federal dollars for Gender Affirming surgery
No men in women’s sports

And I’m not even bringing up the hard stuff.

Apparently people have a short memory.

Remember Trumps first term where we got a great tax cut but Ryan and McCain fricked everything up after promising to repeal Obamacare. And nothing in immigration? Or anything else? And then everything flipped at the midterms?

I remember.

One month into a 2 year stint of control and you’re starting to wilt already? Grow a backbone and hope like the rest of the normals that change is coming
