For all the LeBron hate here, I have to say he is the most physically dominant player one on one in the Association. By far… a rare specimen of a basketball player.

As well as ruiner of teams and the league overall. Not to mention his All Star Sunday spectacle. Great specimen of a human to wait until hours before the game to say you’re not playing. Could’ve been a real “face of the league” type of guy and let his spot be given to someone deserving. He needs to retire.

As far as I can tell he stays out of trouble off the court and is a good family man. I despise what he did with his superteam building and meddling with other teams using Klutch (even though supposedly he doesn't earn from it). Watching such a big athletic dude flop makes me nauseous too.

Don't forget to leave out the minor detail that he also wins a championship every where he goes too. As much as I have liked to hate on him for being a terrible GM, he still delivers a championship. The argument can always be said that he cripples the franchise afterwards but I would 100% take a championship and then crippled for a few years over our current situation of no championship but still crippled.

He needs to retire because of what he did at the all star game? A completely useless game that people now only watch just to hate on it? The guy is 40 and averaging 24/8/9. I'd give your left nut to have a 25 year old to average that much less a 40 year old. It's arguably one of the most impressive seasons in NBA history given his age.
I dislike Lebron more than any other athlete in all of sports, but the guy is just incredible. The GOAT discussion between him and MJ gets tighter and tighter every season he plays. Very legitimate argument can be made that he is tGOAT, and this is coming from an MJ fan and Lebron hater.

Wtf? Where have you been the last 10 years? Diddy parties? Fake racism? Lawsuits? I'm not saying he's the devil but there's a big line between "staying out of trouble" and having "frick you hush money/ status".

good family man
So good of a family man that he held a team hostage to sign his son that has no business being in the NBA.
Great player but you are acting like the dude is a saint.

I often wonder who will get arrested first, the person that painted ‘nagger’ on lebrons garage door or the person who brought the cocaine into the White House…..
Think I’ll be going to the grave with these ‘mysteries’ never being solved.

Do you mean that its sad people do this or upsetting that those people miss out on a chance to be oppressed?
Racism is real and fake racism is real. Crying wolf hurts the people that actually go through it, no different than the me too movement.
Trying to figure out if you agree that its wild or if your vagina is bleeding.

That's a real sacrifice you're willing to make there. [/sarcasm]

I am far from a LeBron fan but this comment is genuinely absurd. He’s won a title with each team he’s joined.
And he has certainly not ruined the league. Quite the opposite, he was simply the next generational talent following Kobe, who followed MJ. The NBA specifically heavily relies on superstars of this caliber and he’s filled that role for a very long time.
Again, I’m not a LeBron guy. I am an NBA guy. And your comments are biased and presumably related to the fact that you have opposing political views as him.

Not basing my opinion on politics at all. (If I wanted to I’d post on the Poli board)
I started as a LBJ fan but he lost me a long time ago. Here’s my reason I said what I said:
1. Taking my talents to South Beach.
2. Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4…..
3. Although he won in Miami and Cleveland..I’ll throw LA in there although it definitely has an asterisk in my book. Was he THE guy? I feel like DWade was probably the reason he won in Miami and Kyrie in Cleveland.
4. His advent of the “super team”
5. His leadership role in the load management position.
6. His lame reasons when he fails. “Check the stats” T shirt.
7. His runnings of the organization he plays for. He got coaches fired, run GM’s, made them trade for his friends, DRAFTED HIS SON, etc. (got his podcast bro hired as coach…poor JJ is destined for failure)
8. I agree with what OP said, he IS awesome at the head down, shoulder down dive to the rim but other than that, what exactly is he known for?
He’s not a good shooter, not good defensively (other than the block on Iggy). He’s at best a slightly above average scorer and below average defender. The only reason he has the scoring title is his longevity. Everything is about him and that was his main motivation to get that record.
He’s not, never was and never will be the goat. Hot take here: Idk if he is even top 5 all time. He never “led” a team to a title. He has lost more finals than won and I’ll end my debate with….Klutch Sports. He and his friends running/ruining the NBA for over a decade.
TL:DR- His ego, his decisions and his friends have ruined the league, if not a minimum of the 3 teams he played for. He has overstayed his welcome. Retire. He ain’t winning a title again.

I hate Lebron but apparently I don't hate him enough according to this dude.
That's us in 2025.
