How was this guy a top aid on the task force for so long and how did the Dems have so much power at the time.

Because Trump couldn’t fire him otherwise the media would have crucified him.
Yeah, I always thought Trump would fire the midget any time….but it didn’t happen.

Always pissed me off!

You know he wanted to fire the little troll doll.

Why he didn’t was likely due to the predictable blowback and his desire for another term.

Because the whole thing was new and everyone trusted him right out of the gate.

The problem isn’t that you can’t trust government. It’s that you have untrustworthy people in key positions that require a high degree of public trust.

Trump was in a no win situation here, but it is strange he seemingly championed the vax for awhile

Most of you still lack rationality when it comes to Covid, Fauci and vaccines. It’s quite the interesting phenomenon.

Because we were experiencing an unknown disease and who else are you going to get to lead about that disease than someone who has experience with diseases. If we're being honest here probably 99% of the people trusted Fauci in the early days of covid but because of more research and questions about covid it became evident that Fauci was hoodwinking us all. The fact that Biden let him hang around for the next two years should be the topic of discussion.

Donald Trump loved Dr Fauci. On his last day or second to the last day in office, Trump awarded the esteemed Dr Fauci a Presidential award.

Trump was a true Fauci believer 'til the bitter end.

I've wondered the same thing. The Uniparty really had their way with Trump the first go round. No doubt.

More needs to be made of the conscious lying to Trump and to the American people:

Trump was surrounded by people who were trying to bring him down in 2020. They allowed Fauci to stick around.

Trump listened and deferred to "the experts" instead of his own gut.

He won't make that mistake again.

He may still follow experts, but if his gut is telling him not to, he won't.

It was the best information he was given at the time.

Trump is decisive, aggressively so. Good business managers usually are. Make a decision based on the best info you have, then make it BE the right one.

Not like he could wait around, the number of deaths being plastered across the news lent urgency to the decisions made.

1) Trump put Pence in charge of the task force.

2) Deep State scumbag Pence brought in both Fauci and Birx.

3) Trump didn't know about Fauci's checkered past, and Pence didn't care.

Trump didn't have to fire Fauci. All he had to do was tell him he no longer will be the mouthpiece and will have to stand off to the side or go sit in the corner while Trump inserts someone else in there. That's all that had to be done. Instead, Trump let Fauci take over and be the mouthpiece for Covid for months on end unfettered. It was a disaster. Both Fauci and Birx should have been pushed off to the side. They weren't.
