You mean as an at large, they probably need to win 3 more games and maybe a game or 2 in the sec tournament

The National Invitation Tournament Board of Managers has announced new qualification procedures for the 2025 NIT, which include bids going to 16 “exempt” teams, as well as others that may qualify automatically as regular-season conference champions. Exempt teams will include the top two teams not selected to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship from both the Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference.

The top two teams from the SEC that don’t make the big dance will not only make it, but host a game. Maybe we can lose to North Texas at home once again

Our remaining schedule tends to argue against postseason of any sort. I can't see LSU winning any more games with the possible exception of Aggies in the PMAC

Lunardi has 13 teams in the tournament. That means 14 and 15 in the SEC would host an NIT home game.

vs Florida
vs Tennessee
@ Miss St
@ Kentucky
Aggies

Where can two wins come from out of that?

I can believe two or even three wins in the SEC Tourney, as funny things can happen there.

Oklahoma is currently #15 in league standings. I don't know who #13 is-- maybe Georgia?

Oklahoma is in the last four in (before tonight), Georgia is first four out. We would be hosting NIT with UGA as of tonight.

NIT is always better than nothing. Especially for young guys if they are sticking around

LSU can go 3-15 in the SEC and make the NIT if that happens.

The NCAA tournament is probably taking all the SEC teams except too, so the NIT takes the top two teams that didn't make the NCAA tournament.. so yeah we can
