quote:

“While there remains much critical work to be done to ensure that the Postal Service can be financially viable as we continue to serve the nation in our essential public service mission, I have decided it is time to start the process of identifying my successor and of preparing the Postal Service for this change,” DeJoy said in a statement.

i've got one package stuck in Indy and another in Phoenix with multiple others arriving late by 2-3 days... and it's not even the holiday season.

We got a notice from our water dept. yesterday saying our monthly bill will probably be late because of problems with our USPS. Hell, the two offices are a quarter of a mile from each other in a town of 4,700 people. WTF.

How funny! I just filed a missing mail search because a package is stuck in transit and hasn’t updated since 1/31.

Same boat. I shipped a package on dec 19th. It went half way across the country, then came back and it's just sitting. USPS supervisor says the only way I can get it back is by paying $20 to do a package intercept, I had them look the package up and they know where its being held. Started a missing package search on feb 3rd and still nothing. F them. Good thing I'm not a Terrorist because I know what I would do if i were.

USPS sucks. They have no true overnight. They will charge $28 for overnight and it will still arrive 3-4 days later.

Biden infused money to them and they still suck.

The price of stamps is ridiculous.

New Orleans has to have the worst I've ever seen. DEI in the rest of the country is catching up.

I live in the Northshore and have had items at the New Orleans sorting center for over a week according to tracking.

Had a package supposed to be here on Jan 14th. It ended up on vacation in Puerto Rico for a few weeks. Surprisingly it showed up on 3 days ago

I don’t rely on usps for much of anything but I was due to receive a check from a client who insisted on mailing it.

It took two weeks to make it from Birmingham to New Orleans.

We went almost two days without seeing postman at all.

I avoid USPS like the plague. Every year, I get anywhere from 2-5 Christmas cards back even though they are addressed correctly. A friend of mine told me the one she mailed me got sent back with the correct address clearly written on the envelope.

I’ve had to make two complaints about our carrier this past year for shoving packages that were too big to fit into our mailbox because his lazy arse didn’t want to get out if his truck to walk it up to the porch.

I’ll continue spending a couple of extra bucks for UPS where I can buy and create my own label on their app which allows me to track the package.

At least once per week our mail carrier puts the neighbors mail in my box or vice versa. It's become the neighborhood joke that we have to deliver each other's mail after the daily mail delivery which often does not even come until 7pm or later.
