Saw this stat today. I wish Drew Brees had a defense man

Drew Brees
Career Playoff Record: 9-9
Team PPG in the playoffs over that time: 27.1
Points allowed per game in the playoffs over that time: 25.5

Aaron Rodgers
Career Playoff Record: 12-10
Team PPG in the playoffs over that time: 27.3
Points allowed per game in the playoffs over that time: 26.0

Tom Brady
Career Playoff Record: 35-13
Team PPG in the playoffs over that time: 27.0
Points allowed per game in the playoffs over that time: 20.6

Patrick Mahomes
Career Playoff Record: 17-4
Team PPG in the playoffs over that time: 29.3
Points allowed per game in the playoffs over that time: 23.9

Brady averaged the least amount of PPG out of these 4 and his defense allowed the least giving him the highest differential. No surprise he won the most.

Saints failed Drew.

The losses against the Seahawks, gave up huge plays........losses against the Vikings, miracle pass and push-off in endzone.......games shouldn't have been that close in the first place.
Loss against 49ers that defense was HORRIFIC. Any defense shows up, we win that game by 20 points or more.
Loss against Rams, same thing. ANY semblance of defense shows up and we win that game outright AND another SB.
Loss against Tampa......4 turnovers will do it against ANY team.

Disagree on the Rams game. We settled for a FG in our first drive, then get an INT, settle for a FG again. We go up 14-0 no way we lose, Dome would've been rocking even louder.

Then we score a TD to go up 13-0. 13-10 at halftime...if it's 21-10 the route is on.

Stats on those 4 QB's is BS.
You people and stats like this
There are 10 other guys on the field at the same time contributing to those stats positively or negatively. It's a team friggin' sport.

I’m not saying you don’t have a point but it shows what we all knew:

Brady had MUCH better defenses.

Drew saved his worst games for the playoffs at times as well.

Why do you care, you bitched about being done with the saints and the NFL back in the days with the kneeling. Withe stand with your conviction and be done, or admit your full of shite.

Most of those were due to individual lapses more than overall defense.

Dan Marino empathizes with Brees. Dolphins failed him even moreso

We also turned the ball over 5 times in that game.

In the loss against the Rams, it was the offense that failed the team. Saints had an opportunity to go up by 14 early in the game and squandered it. Defense kept us with the slight lead we had for most of the game

All those quarterbacks would’ve won multiple championships with the saints. Sean Peyton made drew brees and he wanted to dump him the last two years because his arm gave out. Mickey didn’t let him and what happened? Drew choked in the playoffs every time

2011 Saints offense was a juggernaut and was outscoring people. 49ers had an incredible defense.. ours was average at best. Still can't get over how we let a receiver get behind the coverage late in the game....or how we allowed a QB bootleg by Alex Smith go all the way to the endzone.

It’s as if the Saints were playing against really good offenses in the playoffs. Nobody could have predicted that…

A couple of seasons we peaked too early, and our offense just became a one dimensional, Drew to Graham, uninspired showing.
